Educational pedagogy

At Bamboo, we follow and believe in an integrated and holistic approach to learning. Our curriculum is carefully prepared and designed to integrate the most important areas of early childhood development including cognitive, physical, social, speech and language as well as emotional aspects.

Play-based learning

Play is a fundamental part of early childhood education. We believe that children learn best through hands-on experiences, exploration, and imaginative play. Play-based activities promote creativity, problem-solving skills, and social interaction.

Socialization

The Japanese and German early childhood education system places a strong emphasis on developing social skills and fostering positive relationships. Children are encouraged to work together, respect others, and develop a sense of empathy and responsibility.

Teacher-child relationships

Strong teacher-child relationships are highly valued in Japanese and German early childhood education systems. A nurturing and supportive environment helps little ones feel safe, cared for, and respected. This helps foster a lifelong love for learning.

Respect for diversity

Teachers adapt their teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and provide individualised support when necessary. We strive to create personalised learning experiences that meet the needs, interests and abilities of each child.

Self-help skills

Our little ones are taught to clean up after finishing up from activities as well as learning to wash their hands before and after meals and after using the toilet. This promotes independence and self-confidence in toddlers and sets them up for life long success.
