No, your child doesn't have to be potty trained.
We recognize that potty training is a learning journey, and we provide support to parents and toddlers throughout this process.
At Bamboo, we offer dedicated diaper changing areas for children who have not yet begun potty training. If your child is in the process of potty training, we will work with them accordingly.
We are a play-based program which means that most of the learning is done through play and experience.
In our classrooms we have "centers." These centers are typically arranged from quiet to loud, and range from everything from a listening center with books, block centers with balancing materials and fun accessories, to dramatic play props, and touch and feel sensory centers like sand and water tables.
The teachers move around the classroom and interact with the children individually and in small groups. They work on topics and extensions based on the individual child(ren)’s developmental level. According to research, play is by far the MOST appropriate (and successful!) way for children to learn.
Our preschool hours are from 7:30 am to 1 pm.
We are closed on all major public holidays including winter break and spring break.
Our teachers are carefully selected based on their education, experience, and dedication to early childhood development. Each teacher holds a relevant degree in early childhood education or a related field, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills necessary to support young learners effectively. Additionally, our team undergoes continuous professional development to stay updated on the latest teaching methods and child development research. We prioritize creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally under the guidance of our qualified educators
While we don't offer after-school programs directly, we collaborate with independent providers who offer classes on our campus. These programs cover a range of interests including ballet, music and play, sign language, and more.
